Heavy Metal Thunder
The CTVMotors transportation system includes a motorcycle. Rather that just have a car, its important to have a comprehensive transportation system. There's the family car to get everyone and luggage to the vacation destination, as well as permit the mom to easily drive reliably to accomplish life's errands. Then a truck in place to provide bad or cold weather commute transport and provide cargo carrying capability. Next, each of the drivers needs a convertible. Finishing out the system is the bike, the Heavy Metal Thunder of CTVMotors.
(I understand the Boulevard was sold within 2 weeks to a good home instead of being sent to the crusher!)

New Bike! On April 10, 2009, I traded the Suzuki Boulevard in on a new 2008 Yamaha "Star" Stratoliner S. Greg of Waynes Cycle Shop is turning over the keys of the new bike to me as the Boulevard and the Stratoliner look on.
The Stratoliner is a significantly bigger bike than the Suzuki. It is listed as a 1900 (1854) cc motor which has stump pulling torque.
When you're ready to travel in big-time style, the Sratoliner S is ready to roll at a moment's notice- with a lockablequick-release windshield, passenger backrest, and lockable sidebags covered in leather. Stratoliner S gets chrome switchgear, chrome master and clutch cylinders and levers, chrome wheels, chrome belt guard, chrome engine covers and a chrome front end. Even the key is a work of art."

The bike at home, completely stock. Yamaha describes the bike as: "The award winning Stratoliner S is the chrome clad, 113 cubic-inch V-twin powered neo-streamlined cruiser.
Check the Care and Feeding of the Stratoliner for accessories and other mods for that bike.
A nice online forum for these bikes, called the Volusia Riders Forum can be accessed at this link: Volusia Riders Forum. (Suzuki changed the bike a bit in 2005 and replaced the name Volusia with Boulevard in 2005.)

The old bike:
After selling the 1966 VW I built and trading in the Virago, I got this bike in July, 2006 drove it for 16K miles then traded it in on the Stratoliner in April, 2009.

In March, 2008 a couple of us formed a local chapter of the Cruiser Club USA. Here's the link to our chapter's website.
home. It is a 750; I put Hard Krome pipes on, painted flames on the tank and had fun learning to ride on it before moving to the Boulevard.

My first bike was a 1990 Yamaha Virago. I picked this one up after getting an interest in buying a motorcycle to complete the System. After taking the MSF course, I found this used bike and brought it
